Despite COVID-19 hitting the island very hard, yearly rent went up again -
we need to raise a whopping
102.000 Baht (3066 US Dollars or 2800 Euros).
I am renting an old house, where 57 dogs, 38 cats and my own self currently reside.
We're in the middle of the jungle, with access to electricity, the possibility to take the dogs on walks without leashes, a big fenced garden for the cats to enjoy the outdoors and where the barking doesn't annoy the neighbours.
Places like this hardly exist anymore on the island - I truly hope we can stay here as long as possible.
